2008 Winter Business Meeting

Good afternoon BAEs,

BOMA International is once again using “paperless” marketing for the Winter Business Meeting, which means that all information about this event will be communicated to members through e-mails, e-newsletters and the BOMA Web site. Registration is now open for the 2008 Winter Business Meeting, being held January 25–28, 2008 at the beautiful Doral Golf Resort & Spa in Miami, Florida.

To register for the conference online go to www.boma.org/events/wbm, or you can print the registration form and register by fax or mail. There is a link to make your hotel reservation online, or you can call the hotel at the phone number provided.

The registration fee is $595, and the additional local staff registration fee is $295. As a reminder, the additional staff rate applies to your local office staff only and may not be transferred to a member or volunteer. The BAE or one other staff person must be registered at the full rate. BOMA attendees receive a special guest room rate of $250/night at the Doral Resort. The cut-off to receive this special rate is 12/27/07, or when BOMA’s room block is sold out, whichever occurs first.

The detailed schedule events will be posted on the Web site within the next two weeks. In the meantime, a schedule overview has been posted. Business meetings will begin on Friday, January 25, but plan to arrive early if you’d like to participate in a fabulous golf tournament hosted by BOMA/Miami-Dade on the world-famous Blue Monster course, one of the 5 championship courses located at the Doral. The golf tournament will begin with a shotgun start at 12:30 pm on Thursday, January 24, and proceeds from the tournament will be donated to BOMAPAC. The golf tournament registration information will be posted soon. The conference will conclude with the Board of Governors meeting on Monday morning, January 28. We will adjourn by 11am so that you’ll have time to catch an afternoon flight on Monday. The Doral Resort is located 7 miles from Miami International Airport and 38 miles from Fort Lauderdale Airport.
