Legislator of the Year

In February 2006, Texas BOMA awarded Senator Jeff Wentworth and Representative Frank Corte, Jr. the "LEGISLATOR OF THE YEAR" Award for their efforts in helping to pass the International Building Code in Texas.

This Award is presented biannually to officials who assist Texas BOMA in passing legislation beneficial to the commercial real estate industry or in mitigating or defeating legislation contrary to the industry.
